    TLAB: 

    Join TLAB, located at Gisborne Hospital, and become an integral part of a laboratory serving both the Hospital and the Community. With a team of approximately 30 dedicated individuals, including scientists, technicians, phlebotomy staff and drivers, TLAB provides essential services in Biochemistry, Haematology, and Blood Bank.

    Additionally, the lab offers limited microbiology, molecular services and anatomical pathology, ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage. As a satellite lab for the larger Medlab Central Group, we maintain rigorous quality standards, accredited under the scheme of the International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ).



    Expected Qualifications/Experience:

    • Clinical lab experience with an emphasis in Biochemistry.
    • Management experience in a leadership role.
    • Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Commitment to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
    • Ability to obtain New Zealand Registration from NZMLS and an     APC (if overseas).
