About the role | Mō te tūranga:

Our busy Dunedin Laboratory provides service to both the Hospital and Community and is looking for a suitably qualified Medical Laboratory Technician to work in the Haematology department. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role of 80 hours per fortnight. 

To succeed in this role you will need:

• The ability to work in a methodical manner adhering to strict quality procedure guidelines.
• A team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Registration with the Medical Science Council and an Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
