Interim Lab Manager – Oamaru Full-time Fixed term

We are seeking expressions of interest for an Interim Laboratory Manager to step up and lead the Oamaru Lab until around June 2026, covering parental leave.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 13 dedicated staff, fostering service excellence, teamwork, aspiration, and responsibility. Reporting to the Lab Operations Manager, you will work closely with the team to maintain high standards of operational efficiency and service quality.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mature Scientist who brings strong communication skills and a reputation for fairness and reliability. We're looking for someone who has a good grasp of both the operational and financial aspects of lab management and is eager to further their career by stepping into this leadership role.
